CSTE provides RCKMS authoring support to assist STLT public health agencies with using and maintaining reporting specifications in RCKMS.

Effective October 1, 2026, RCKMS authoring support is provided through a targeted support model designed to address jurisdiction needs while promoting greater jurisdictional self-sufficiency.

Available RCKMS Support

RCKMS Authoring and Troubleshooting Support
Jurisdictions may request assistance with RCKMS authoring, electronic initial case report (eICR) and Reportability Response (RR) troubleshooting, and other RCKMS-related support needs.

ASA support provides guidance and technical assistance to help jurisdictions address authoring needs; however, jurisdictions are responsible for authoring and maintaining their own reporting specifications in RCKMS. The ASA will not author or maintain conditions on behalf of jurisdictions.

Monthly RCKMS Jurisdiction Support Sessions
CSTE hosts monthly RCKMS support sessions that primarily serve as a standardized forum for new user orientation.

• New User Orientation: RCKMS orientation training for new users is offered during scheduled monthly RCKMS Jurisdiction Support Sessions rather than through individually scheduled orientation sessions.
• Ad Hoc Support Sessions: In months when new user orientation is not needed, the scheduled session may be repurposed to share RCKMS content and tool updates, provide authoring guidance, address common questions or troubleshooting needs, and support shared learning across jurisdictions.

RCKMS Guidance and Resources
CSTE maintains standardized guidance and resources to assist jurisdictions with common RCKMS authoring and troubleshooting needs and support increased jurisdictional self-sufficiency.

Request RCKMS Support

Jurisdictions should submit RCKMS authoring and troubleshooting requests through the eCR AIMS Service Desk. Requests will be reviewed and triaged to the appropriate resource for assistance.

Routine 1:1 ASA jurisdiction check-ins are no longer provided under the current support model. Jurisdictions should use the eCR AIMS Service Desk and monthly RCKMS Jurisdiction Support Sessions to access RCKMS authoring support.
