Greetings RCKMS Users,
On Thursday, July 30, 2026, updated versions of 22 previously released conditions were made available for jurisdiction adoption.
There are 262 conditions (94 nationally notifiable and 168 non-notifiable conditions) currently available in the tool for authoring and jurisdiction use. Please visit the Content Repository to review reporting specification Word documents and guidance documents.
Please see the in-tool release notifications in RCKMS for a summary of in-tool updates. Consolidated Release Notes are available in the Content Repository.
Important Update for Content Release 16 (RSV-Associated Mortality):
- Included in this release is a new version of the Reporting Specification for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)-Associated Mortality (v7.0 Release 20260626) that utilizes a NEW SNOMED Condition Code(761671000124100 | Death associated with respiratory syncytial virus infection (event)).
- To use the latest version of this condition, you will need to manually retire any previous version that is in ‘published to production’ status before publishing the latest version.
Note: You will only need to manually retire this one condition. Other conditions will automatically retire when new versions are published. Failing to retire the previous condition version before publishing the latest version may result in duplicative reportability determinations for RSV-Associated Mortality. Instructions on how to complete the retirement are posted on the home page in RCKMS.
- Potential impact on your surveillance system: When an eICR is found reportable for a condition in RCKMS, the SNOMED Condition Code is output in the Reportability Response as the Relevant Reportable Condition Value. If you use the Relevant Reportable Condition Value from the Reportability Response to triage/process eICRs, this update may impact your surveillance system. We recommend checking internally for any potential impact.
